Question by Ian K: Anniversaries!!!!!!!!!!?
Me and my girlfriend are in college. We got together on April 5. We celebrated our one month anniversary on May 5. What other anniversaries should we celebrate. Also we are not going to be be seeing each other until September. Im new at this and I want to get it right.

If you want to celebrate month anniversaries, that’s your choice…don’t let anyone scare you away from doing it. My fiance and i have been together 3 years and still celebrate month anniversaries. We don’t do anything big…spend time together just cuddling and talking about us. If we’re away from each other, we’ll send lovey emails. This is just because we’re both the romantic, lovey dovey types and like celebrating them…we like always having that day to look forward to even though negative stuff might be going on.

The biggies are 6 month anniversary and yearly anniversary. I wouldn’t suggest you forget those. But the other monthly anniversaries are totally optional.

Question by Tough Love: How do we know which anniversaries to celebrate?
So me and my boyfriend just started dating, how are we supposed to know which anniversaries to celebrate or buy gifts for? I would feel awkward bringing it up. Im just not sure if 1 week or 1 month 2 month 3 month?

That means yearly, anniversaries are an yearly event……the reason most people celebrate birthdays on the day of the year they were born, (regrets to you Feb 29 babies).
